Gerd J. Simon is an independent strategy and management consultant in the TMT market. His focus has been on the creation and expansion of digital assets, especially in the market segment of digital infrastructures on M&A and real estate transactions. Prior to that, as an Internet veteran, business angel and mentor, he held various management positions at European ICT and high-tech companies. As co-founder & CEO of Interxion in Germany in the late 1990s, he was responsible for its initial development phase into Germany's leading Internet hub. Since then, he has also actively supported the development of DE-CIX into the world's leading Internet exchange hub. The industrial engineer, who graduated from the University of Karlsruhe, lives with his family in the Rhine-Main area.
