Safe power supply with Bender Condition Monitoring
In order for modern data centres to operate without interruption, they need a reliable power supply. A redundant power supply with UPSes should guarantee such fail-safe operation. However, in the event of faults in the power supply infrastructure or in hardware components, a UPS alone is not enough and there is a risk of data loss. At the Data Centre World trade fair from 11 - 12 May 2022 in Frankfurt (Stand B65), Bender will present a standard-compliant solution for a fail-safe power supply by means of continuous system monitoring (Condition Monitoring).
The Bender solution detects faults in the power supply or in hardware components before critical system conditions or failures occur. Faults are reported and displayed quickly and reliably via a control panel or a web server. Maintenance teams thus have the opportunity to react in time and rectify the error.
The Bender Condition Monitoring system is suitable for monitoring power supply, sub-distribution, generators and UPSes. In addition, servers, racks and air conditioning can be monitored. It complies with EN 50600 and is also recognised as an alternative to insulation resistance measurement in accordance with DGUV Regulation 3.
