FATH Mechatronics GmbH is a specialist for electronic locking systems and the manufacturer of the innovative TANlock 3 access control system, which was honored this year with the "ZIM Individual Project of the Year 2021" award by the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Mr. Peter Altmaier. Now the TANlock can finally be seen in person again.

The security of server cabinets is particularly important due to growing digitalization. The protection of sensitive data already starts at the server cabinet. Therefore, it is particularly important for operators of data centers, companies and communities to protect this data by physically securing the servers. This should be done without restrictions or complicated access for authorized users. The access control system TANlock 3 offers the possibility to get the latest security standard by exchangeable modules as well as an easy integration without additional software or hardware into the infrastructure.

It can be integrated into standard interfaces such as SNMPs, OSS, Syslog, MS ActiveDirectory and LDAPs and thus offers a high level of security and can be adapted to individual requirements. For example, a separate power supply was also dispensed with and common standards such as PoE (Power over Ethernet) were used.

For the first time, sensors for temperature, humidity, smoke, etc. are also available directly on the server cabinet lock. With all the individuality, the TANlock now already counts more than a hundred variants.
