EcoCooling fresh air systems use a combination of ventilation, direct evaporative (adiabatic) cooling and highly efficient fans to provide efficient and ASHRAE compliant cooling to IT facilities.
Consuming only 10% of the energy of traditional refrigeration based cooling systems. For a 100kW server room, this can represent an annual saving of more than £35,000. Suitable for both retrofit and new build, both types of installations have achieved PUEs of less than 1.1.
With over 1000 IT and telecoms installations worldwide clients include Hydro66, Cambridge University, BT, Experian and more.
The new CloudCooler range is specifically designed for rapid deployment in IT environments, using the simple, modular, plug and play coolers, operators can significantly reduce their data centre's TCO (Total cost of ownership).
The ventilation range is being used by a number of large cryptocurrency mining, HPC and colocation providers currenctly to achieve PUEs of below 1.07 in their European facilities.
EcoCooling has announced a new range of evaporative cooling products with the new CloudCooler® range Designed for large scale data centers with rapid deployment strategies. The CloudCooler® is also available in a Nordic grade material allowing it to operate in very cold climates including areas within the Nordics and Arctic Circle.
